Who called these dead to dance? Was it the wilderness children?

Laaaast weekend was solid. First, Rosie and I drove down to brady's house in my jeep with the old CL175. We went to Taco Amigo that night and Kathy hooked us up, just because thats what kind of person she is! We love kathy. Then Saturday morning we did a jeep trail called Mona Pole. It was soo perfect with good weather and everything was so green.

We did a little hike up to an old mine. It was insane! It forked off a hundred times and just went on for an eternity, and beyond that too. It was dark, quiet and cold. It was pretty eery in there.

Then on Sunday Chad invited Brady and I to go up to American Fork canyon with him and his family. So me and B-rad rode motorcycles up there and we longboarded and played in the river and hung out at sliding rock. It was good times.

Later that night, the whole family gathered at Chad and Amber's for River's birthday.
There was foursquare, food and fireworks. I don't even need to say anymore...

TRANSFORMATIIIIOOOON

My dad and I have been workin' hard on this bike and it totally paid off! We spent a whole saturday from early in the morning to late at night tearing this thing apart and sanding like crazy. By the time we started shooting it, it was already dark outside. It's been a fun project and were still not done. I ordered new drag bars on ebay and they should be here soon. We also want to change the gearing so that we can get going a little faster and feel good about it. There are lots of little things we have planned to get it running a little better and looking good. It's been super fun so far!

Here's the before picture! this is what it looked like right when we got it. We quickly took the goon rack off the back and cleaned it up.

This is the most current picture of it. LOVE IT!

This is the end, of all elaborate plans

How can you describe the night without ruining the experience. There are things in this life you just have to experience to learn. You can't be told everything. I'm not going to waste your time or mine trying to explain how are trip was to Havasupai, because my description and all the pictures in the world won't do it any justice. But I'll put some up anyway.

This is our camp. It was like sleeping in a giant zen garden. It was so perfect.

This is Rosie hanging over the edge at the top of Havasu falls.

Jim Morrison was there. He's not really dead, he just lives in a waterfall.

B-RAD!!

This is Mooney falls, 200 feet tall!

Here comes creamy

Causing Ruckus

I sacrificed part of my identity and then bought a new one. I went from being a weekend warrior motocross racer in the 450 class to scootin' 50cc's with my feet too close together. Stupid, I know...But it was totally worth it.
I got a 2007 Honda Ruckus and its been the best $1500 I've ever spent. It's tough lookin' and it gets about 100 mpg. I've already saved a ton of money on gas and my Jeep isn't taking such a beating. It has some beefy tires so I can take it in the dirt and on the road. I seriously have not been bored since I've had this thing. No regrets.

Nevermind, I sold it.

2003 Yamaha YZ 450F; brand new front and rear tires, FMF powerbomb and silencer, pro-taper handlebars. This was a great year for the yz450's. It runs great and starts easy every time.
